Youths who could not go for employment after passing Korean language under the Employment Permit System (EPS) staged a protest in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
The youths who have been waiting for the flight after passing the EPS have staged a protest at their family home in Kathmandu. The government has demanded to send workers waiting for the flight.
Protesters have also expressed concern over the loss of employment due to lack of government coordination. The participants carried placards with slogans such as 'Give employment, let go to Korea' and 'Start international flights to Korea'.
Protesters said there was a danger of losing more than 3,000 jobs if the government did not take the initiative to send them to Korea within two years. Protesters said that there was a peaceful demonstration demanding immediate deportation to Korea for fear of wasting time and effort and suffering from depression.
As soon as the lockdown started, the government stopped air services and the workers were stopped. Workers have not been able to go to Korea for four months. Even those who passed the language test and came to the flight schedule were suddenly stopped.
