204 people were infected with the corona virus in Nepal on Tuesday.
According to Dr Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, 204 more people tested positive for the corona virus during tests conducted in various laboratories across the country.
Along with this, the number of infected people in Nepal has reached 16,168. Similarly, 28 corona infected people have been added in Kathmandu Valley on Tuesday.
According to Gautam, corona has been confirmed in one person from Kathmandu in a test conducted at the National Public Health Laboratory, Teku. Similarly, tests conducted in the lab of Patan Hospital have confirmed corona infection in 12 people from Kathmandu, 4 people from Bhaktapur and 10 people from Lalitpur.
A test conducted at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital has confirmed corona in another person from Kathmandu. In the last 24 hours, another 688 people have recovered and been discharged after treatment. Including this, the number of those discharged has reached 7499, said spokesperson Gautam.
According to spokesperson Gautam, the infection has been seen in all the districts of the country so far. So far, 261861 PCRs have been tested. There are currently 8,634 in isolation and 25,727 in quarantine.
