The Ganeshman Singh Study Foundation has stated that the responsibility of the local government will be special when the country is in turmoil from Corona.
Speaking at a press conference in Kathmandu on Monday, the foundation said that the local government should pay special attention to budget formulation.
Stating that more than half of the grant received through the federal government will be spent on education and health sector salaries and allowances and the other half will be spent on administrative work, the foundation said that the money received by the local bodies should be spent in a very prudent manner.
Chairman of the foundation Navindra Raj Joshi said that the local government should immediately focus on health security assurance, relief program and job creation.
Similarly, the foundation suggests that the local government should pay special attention to health, agriculture, animal husbandry and cooperatives, education, taxes and local development projects.
