Encourage private sector to make the economy dynamic

Finance Minister Dr. Yuvaraj Khatiwada has said that the private sector will be encouraged to take the private sector into confidence to make the economy affected by COVID-19 gradually dynamic.

During the discussion on the Fiscal Bill 2077 received with a message from the House of Representatives in the National Assembly on Friday, Minister Dr. Khatiwada said that progress could be made on the basis of post-earthquake rehabilitation and reconstruction experience.

Minister Khatiwada said that how long the Corona crisis lasts and how simple or fast the government's target is depends on the development of the economy.

He informed that the government has proposed in the bill to collect 29.09 percent of the value added tax from the revenue target of Rs. 10.11 trillion for the coming year.

The meeting approved the proposal to consider the bill by a majority. Similarly, the meeting unanimously approved the proposal to consider the National Debt Raising Bill, 2077 BS and the Debt and Guarantee (Twenty Fourth Amendment) Bill, 2077 BS.

The meeting approved the proposal received from the House of Representatives with a message to consider the bill, 2077, to repeal some of the ordinances and replace the ordinances made to revive the previous provisions of the Nepal Act.

The next meeting of the National Assembly has been convened on July 22 at 1 pm.
