Recipe 1: Basil Lemonade

Basil seeds in lemon water can be best drink for you in this summer. Start soaking basil seeds in cold water, with a whole lemon squeezed into a jar with a few torn mint leaves; honey or sugar may be added to this drink for added flavor.

The basil seeds help you feel full and the other ingredients have a nice cooling effect. The drink helps for good digestion and helps detoxify the body promoting healthy gut.

Recipe 2: Raw mango Squash

Raw mangoes easily available to you in summer can be drink too. Raw mango squash has been old household recipe for years. Raw mango pulp is mixed with sugar to taste, mint leaves, crushed roasted cumin powder and water according to the consistency you desire. You can top it with crushed ice and serve chilled.

Recipe in detail; Dry roast the cumin seeds and ground to a fine powder. In a blender take fistful of mint leaves and coriander leaves. Make a smooth puree / paste adding required water. Now in a large jug, add few ice cubes. Grate the ginger and add coriander - mint puree to it.

Add roasted cumin powder, black salt ( you can also replace with normal salt) then add 2 glass of water and squeeze some lemon juice. Now add crushed black pepper powder. It’s ready to serve with few ice cubes. It helps to detoxify the toxins and is the best drink for summer.
