8 died and 15,067 cases of corona virus in Nepal
On sunday confirmed corona infection in 166 more people.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, corona infections have been confirmed in 166 more people in different parts of the country. Along with this, the number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 15,067.
According to Dr. Bikas Devkota, spokesperson of the Ministry, 165 people have been infected in State 1, 624 in State 2, 45 in Bagmati, 23 in Gandaki, 560 in State 5, 123 in Karnali and 27 in Far Western Province.
The death toll from the corona virus (Covid 19) has risen to eight. According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, Devkota, the death toll has risen to eight after the PCR report of the two died came positive.
Spokesperson Devkota said that the number of deaths from corona has reached eight as soon as the PCR report of a 35-year-old man of Dullu 11 and a two-year-old girl of Bajura in the quarantine of Dullu Municipality-7 of Dailekh came positive.
According to Devkota, spokesperson of the ministry, 67,582 samples have been tested by PCR method and 111,109 samples by RDT method so far.
In the last 24 hours, 2,853 samples have been tested by PCR method and 4,054 samples by RDT method. There are 1,349 people in such isolation and the number of quarantine residents has reached 119,192.
