Stakeholder monitoring of institutional quarantines at the local level
Province no.5 Institutional quarantines at various local levels of West Nawalparasi have been monitored by the stakeholders.
The overall management of the quarantine is checked for the management of basic necessities including food, shelter, drinking water, sanitation as well as the health desk attached to the quarantine.
Although the condition of most of the quarantines was satisfactory during the monitoring, it would be appropriate if further improvements were made, said Gaurav Dhakal, Chief of the Health Office, West Nawalparasi.
A team of stakeholders led by District Coordinating Committee Chief Shibshankar Prasad Roy monitored the quarantines set up at various local levels. After the monitoring, Chief of the Coordination Committee Shiva Shankar Prasad Roy said that the condition of the quarantine was excellent.
There are a total of 13 quarantines in West Nawalparasi with 7 local levels.
