Lockdown Day 49
The lockdown imposed by the Government of Nepal to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19), which has spread like an epidemic around the world, continues.
The government had announced a lockdown for the first time in Nepal from 6 am on March 26 to 6 am on March 29 to control the corona infection.In the second phase, the lockdown period was extended to April 10.
Similarly, the government was extending the period of lockdown from April 10 to midnight in the third phase, midnight on May 3 in the fourth phase and till midnight on May 9 in the fifth phase.
Accordingly, the government has extended the period of Lockdown for the sixth time from Friday to midnight on May 15. By the 49th day, the lockdown has become a little loose.
Traffic congestion has also increased in Kathmandu Valley.
