Bhattarai demands PM’s resignation
Leader of the Samajbadi Janata Party and former prime minister, Dr Baburam Bhattarai has asked for the resignation of Primeminister K P Oli.
Speaking at the inaugural session of the Federal Parliament on Friday, he said that a Prime Minister involved in ‘kidnapping’ of a lawmaker and attempting to divide other parties should resign.
He mentioned that the involvement of the executive head of the country in an attempt to divide other parties and capture constitutional bodies were dangerous for the country.
He pointed out that the image of the government was not good and it had created an image that politics is corrupt among the people.
Mentioning the reluctance shown by the police to register the complaint about lawmaker ‘kidnapping’, he questioned the need of another lawmaker and former police chief to get involved in such a matter all in a hurry.
He requested the government to focus on the treatment of Corona patients and strengthening the economy.
