Another 10 people have been infected with the corona virus in Nepal. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1 person has been infected with the corona virus in Birgunj and 9 in Nepalgunj.
Ministry spokesperson Dr Bikas Devkota said the infection was found in a 36-year-old man from Chhapkaiya in Parsa and nine people from Nepalgunj. According to Dr Devkota, corona infection has been detected in 5 men and 4 women in Nepalgunj.
Their age is 7 to 58 years, said spokesperson Devkota. The number of cases of corona virus infection in Nepal has reached 69. Out of which 16 have been cured. In the last 24 hours, samples of 1,479 people have been tested.
Spokesperson Devkota said that 63,102 samples have been tested in Nepal so far. Spokesperson Devkota informed that 13,414 people were tested by PCR and 49,688 people by RDT.
A total of 77 people are in isolation in the hospital, including 4 in the Kathmandu Valley and 73 outside. According to the ministry, 21,951 people are in quarantine.
