Budget discussion for the coming fiscal year
The lawmakers called on the government to continue with the budget, policies and programs for the coming fiscal year to provide relief to the country's economy.
Taking part in the discussion on the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill for the Fiscal Year 2077/78 (excluding the tax proposal) in the House of Representatives meeting on Wednesday, they made special arrangements to bring special relief package in the budget of the Fiscal Year, implement effective implementation system and provide employment.
MP Sita Devi Yadav said that the government has continued to pay special attention to controlling the infection of COVID 19 and making the citizens safe from its risk.
She also drew the attention of the government to provide necessary resources to increase the scope of COVID-testing.
MP Laxman Lal Karna said that Nepalese stranded in foreign countries including India. The government should take initiative to repatriate.
He urged the government to develop the necessary health infrastructure and manage the manpower in the areas including Birgunj of Parsa district where the number of Covid infections is increasing.
MP Vimal Prasad Srivastava said that the budget policy and program for the coming fiscal year should be included to increase agricultural production.MP Ram Kumari Chaudhary urged the government to expedite the trial of Covid.
MP Pushpa Bhusal demanded the government to come up with a budget for the coming fiscal year to boost the health of the people affected by the Covid 19 epidemic and the economy of the weakened country.
