Ministry of Health Press Conference
Corona infection has been confirmed in three more people in Nepal on Wednesday.
A 46-year-old man from Parsa district and two men from Bara and 31-year-old from Bara district have been infected, said Dr. Vikas Devkota, spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population during a regular press conference.
According to the ministry, two men from Bara and one from Parsa were found infected during tests at the National Laboratory in Teku. Some time ago, they returned from New Delhi, India and were in the quarantine of Simara.
As soon as the corona infection was confirmed, they are undergoing treatment at Narayani Hospital, Birgunj, according to the Ministry. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 57,189 people have been tested for corona in Nepal so far.
Ministry spokesperson Devkota said that 11,524 people were tested by PCR and 45,665 by RDT. The number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 57. However, 16 have recovered and returned home.
