Nepali Congress accuses the government of failing to instill hope and trust in the people

The main opposition party, Nepali Congress, has accused the government of failing to instill hope and confidence in the people.

The Congress has remarked that the policy and program has deviated from the one-year program.

Participating in the inaugural discussion on the government's policies and programs in the House of Representatives on Sunday, President of Nepali Congress, the main opposition party in the House of Representatives, Sher Bahadur Deuba protested that the program was silent on rescuing millions of Nepalese stranded abroad and stranded at the Indian border.

He said the government was unaware of Covid's loss and had no sympathy for the people.

Deuba accused the government of imagining a multi-year blank year after the annual policies and programs had gone astray and had completely failed to instill hope and confidence in the people.

Deuba also accused the government of being reluctant to pass the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
