Corona Committee Meeting
A meeting of the Corona Prevention and Control High Level Committee held at Singhadbarbar on Monday discussed the issue of adding a few days to the situation as the number of corona infections is increasing.
Similarly, the issue of easing the lockdown due to its impact on the economic sector was also discussed. Earlier, the security mechanism had suggested the committee to increase the lockdown.
After the meeting, Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office and member of the High-Level Coordination Committee Narayan Prasad Bidari reviewed the ongoing work on corona prevention and control and discussed future strategies.
He said that various modalities for opening the lockdown have been discussed and a decision will be taken at a meeting on Tuesday.
The government had announced a lockdown from April 26 to control the corona. The phased add-on is coming to an end on April 10.
