The main opposition Nepali Congress has demanded the government to assemble a meeting of the parliament immediately.
A meeting of the Congress Central Committee held at the party office in Sanepa on Wednesday decided to call the attention of the government to assemble a meeting of the parliament soon.
The Congress has argued that delaying the assembling of the parliament will affect the discussion on the budget.
Bishwaprakash Sharma informed that the Central Committee has demanded immediate assembling of the Parliament.
He also said that the work done by the government for the prevention of corona infection was not satisfactory.
He said the government had failed to bring in emergency supplies and that the government had failed to provide relief.
He informed that the role of the opposition party was also discussed in the meeting.
