Italian legend and FIFA World Cup winner Paolo Rossi has died at the age of 64 on Tuesday. His death was announced by RAI Sport TV, where he worked. He won the World Cup in 1982. Rossi's international career included 48 caps and 20 goals for his beloved Italy between 1977-1986
Rossi won both the Golden Boot and the Golden Ball at the World Cup. He also won the Ballon d'Or that year. Rossi became the first player to hold all three honors simultaneously - until the feat was equaled by Ronaldo Nazario in 2002.
