Metropolitan Traffic Police has started a program to provide citizen-friendly traffic police service by further improving the conduct of traffic police.
Department has stated that traffic police has started a program aimed at further improving behavior of police personnel with the objective of making behavior of service recipients more citizen-friendly.
With the aim of providing easy, simple and transparent service to the service recipients and road users during day-to-day operations and activities of traffic police, this evaluation system has been introduced.
Chief of Division, SSP Janak Bhattarai informed that Citizen Friendly Traffic Police Selection Procedure 2077 has been formulated and implemented with the objective of providing excellent service to the service recipients and road users in a polite, courteous and transparent manner.
SSP Bhattarai said that cash prizes and honors will also be given to the two best performers every month for their contribution in scholarship development.
SSP Bhattarai said that this would prove to be a cornerstone for providing excellent service to general service recipients and road users with citizen-friendly behavior and for enhancing effectiveness and standard in overall performance.
Branch has stated that it has implemented "Citizen Friendly Traffic Police Selection Procedure 2077" to provide citizen friendly service by further improving behavior of traffic police towards the service recipients. Traffic employees who excelled in program were awarded.
