CPN-Prachanda-Nepal leader Ram Kumari Jhakri has said that they were trying to arrest her illegally.
Speaking to media persons at his residence before her arrest, she said that the issue of humiliation, insult and assassination of President Vidhyadevi Bhandari was a political issue and not a legal issue.
Jhakri was of the opinion that ruler used to make fun of himself when she fell like an ant's feathers when it dies.
Jhakri said that President Bhandari had become a traitor to dissolve House of Representatives, the highest body of people. Jhakri said that the state was trying to violate the freedom of speech of people.
After the arrest warrant was issued, CPN (Maoist) cadres chanted slogans against the state at Jhakri's residence and did not allow police to enter her residence. A warrant has been issued for Jhakri's arrest after he made a statement about President Vidhyadevi Bhandari.
