Demanding three points including re-establishment of House of Representatives, Dr. Govinda KC has announced 20th Satyagraha.
While holding a press conference at Maitighar in Kathmandu on Thursday, Dr. KC has announced to start satyagraha if his demands are not addressed by March 24.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has declared satyagraha as it is his fundamental duty to oppose autocratic attack on the constitution. said Dr. KC has put forward the first demand to protect constitution from the attempt to dissolve House of Representatives illegally.
Dr. KC also said that illegal appointments to constitutional bodies should be canceled.
Similarly, previous agreements for the improvement of medical education and health sector should be implemented and provisions of National Medical Education Act should be implemented including making medical education non-profit and implementing 75 percent scholarships in all public educational institutions.
Dr. KC has also appealed to the common people to support this non-violent initiative.
