CPN-Prachanda-Nepal faction, which has launched a phased agitation against the dissolution of House of Representatives, has organized a street constitution reading program in Kathmandu on Sunday as part of the second phase of agitation.
At the event, people from various sectors demanded the dissolution of parliament, saying it was unconstitutional. Senior Advocate Raman Shrestha said that the dissolution of parliament was unconstitutional.
Shrestha argued that Prime Minister's claim that he had violated the article was wrong. Shrestha said that there was no provision in Article 76 of the constitution by Prime Minister to dissolve parliament.
Other leaders participating in the debate also opposed the dissolution of parliament. Similarly, writers and artists had also protested against the dissolution of parliament on Sunday.
