Addressing a large gathering of party cadres organized by the CPN-Kathmandu District Committee on Saturday, Oli said that the decision was taken to go for mid-term elections as democracy and the constitution were in danger due to domestic and foreign conspiracies.
Prime Minister Oli also said that the parliament would not be re-established under any circumstances. He said that the election would be held on time as the parties and security forces are preparing for the election.
Claiming that people will vote for the candidate who love their country, Oli also challenged Prachanda and Madhav Nepal to bring a two-digit seat.
Oli, who spent most of his speech criticizing Prachanda- Madhav Nepal, argued that other party's request to the Election Commission was unjustifiable.
He said that the national goal of the government led by him was of interest to the Prime Minister of India and the President of China but it did not mean anything to Prachanda and Nepal.
