The final hearing on the writ petition against the dissolution of the House of Representatives has started in the Constitutional Court of the Supreme Court from today.
Dozens of writ petitions were files against the move of Prime Minister Kp Sharma Oli for recommending dissolvement of the parliament stating that dissolvement was unconstitutional and undemocratic.
The hearing in the Constitutional Court has started from today after Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Jabra ordered to send all the writ petitions to the Constitutional Court.
Even though the Supreme Court has decided to hold continuous hearings from today, the Constitutional Court will work only on Wednesdays and Fridays, so it may take about a month for the order to come, as per Supreme Court officials.
