Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that dissolved House of Representatives cannot be re-established under any circumstances.
In a meeting of National Assembly on Sunday, PM Oli clarified that dissolution of House of Representatives by President was a political question.
PM Oli clarified that Article 76 (7) of the Constitution of Nepal has made provision for dissolution of House of Representatives, adding that there would be no instability if constitution went as specified.
PM Oli also clarified that parliament was dissolved after trying to push country towards instability by interfering in national politics by becoming a pawn of an external forces.
Prime Minister Oli said his party had given political stability to the country by giving immense trust to the people, but government was hampered in its work.
PM Oli said that even though government was moving ahead as per the mandate, it was trying to divide the majority and destabilize the politics of the country by making improper undemocratic transactions.
Stating that it has been decided to go for a new mandate after the dissolution of House of Representatives, PM Oli mentioned that country is now election-oriented.
Oli, however, expressed anger over former chief justice, civil society and legal practitioners calling dissolution of the parliament unconstitutional. PM Oli said that those who had reached the highest levels in past would increase the pressure on the court when they spoke from the streets.
PM Oli clarified that he has taken significant initiative to resolve the dispute through friendly discussions with India. PM Oli said that government led by him had done a lot of work before and government was toppled out of it.
PM Oli informed that Foreign Minister Pradip Kumar Gyawali would visit India on January 14. PM Oli said that issues of mutual interest, including new Map of Nepal, would be discussed during the visit.
