Speaker of the Federal Parliament Agni Prasad Sapkota has said that the winter session of the parliament will be conducted in a new way.
Speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu on Sunday on the occasion of the 14th Federal Parliament Service Day, Speaker Sapkota said that the winter session of the federal parliament would be convened in a new manner.
Stating that it is going on in a more traditional and formal manner now, Speaker Sapkota said that the party will move forward on the path of implementing the constitution in a new way.
Speaker Sapkota said that the Parliament Secretariat had made preparations so that the Parliament session would not be affected due to the corona virus infection.
He said that the parliament would be more important as the main bodies of the state were the executive, the legislature and the judiciary and the president, vice-president and prime minister would be elected from the legislature.
He said that the need and importance of the parliament would be in the work of making laws and establishing good governance.
Similarly, National Assembly Speaker Ganesh Prasad Timilsena said that the role of the federal parliament was important towards the implementation of the constitution and achieving goals. He said that the focus was on drafting the law and that it was necessary to move forward responsibly.
Similarly, Law Minister Shiva Maya Tumwahamphe said that role of staff of the parliament was crucial in making laws. Employees of the Federal Parliament were awarded and honored at the event.
