The world's tallest trident has been laid in Chagunnarayan Municipality of Bhaktapur. In a special ceremony held on Saturday, Congress leader Bimalendra Nidhi laid the foundation stone of the Trishul (trident) under construction.
Mahankal Trishul danda Consumer Development Organization is going to build a 121 feet high trident in Mahankal Trishuldanda of Changunarayan 5. Along with the trident, a 55-foot-tall Gorakhnath temple will also be set up at the site.
Speaking on the occasion, Nidhi said that the current constitution has given protection to the Hindus and there was no reason to go against the constitution.
The estimated cost of the construction of the trident is 44.21 million 913 rupees, according to the organizers. The construction of the trident will be completed in about nine months, according to the organizers.
