Nepal Students Union, Nepali Congress, has staged a protest in Kathmandu against the arrest of senior Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel.
Union staged a protest against Poudel's arrest at Maitighar in Kathmandu on Wednesday evening.
Protestors warned that arrests would cost government dearly. They strongly protested government's decision to arrest their leader, saying it was politically motivated.
Protestors protest by blocking road of Maitighar where police use the force after it was removed.
Nevisangha president Rajiv Dhungana said that administration should apologize publicly not only by releasing their leader Poudel but also warned that tagitation would continue without apology.
Paudel was taken under control by local administration in Tanahu during a dispute over the road inauguration. Poudel has been released.
