Former Member of Parliament and Ambassador Kaman Singh Lama has passed away. He died at the Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj this morning. Lama had been hospitalized for 15 days.
Lama, a veteran communist leader from Kavre, became an MP from Kavrepalanchok district in 2048 BS and was also a member of the Constituent Assembly in 2064 BS.
Lama also served as ambassador to South Korea. He had been playing a leading role in the identity movement.
