Prime Minister KP Oli is going to inspect the Kimathangka border crossing of eastern Nepal with China today.
According to the PM's private secretariat, Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to reach Kimathangka Border point in the northern part of Sankhuwasabha, which borders China, by helicopter at 8.30 am today.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to inspect the Kimathangka checkpoint in Bhotkhola Gaonpalika-1 bordering China.
Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to inspect the customs office and the dry port along with the Border Security Post (BOP) building under construction, which was set up about a year ago.
During the visit, Prime Minister Oli will monitor the trilateral (India, Nepal and China) North-South Koshi Highway of National Pride, the bunker being prepared by the Nepal Army and the temporary camp.
While in Sankhuwasabha, Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to monitor the 900 MW Arun III Hydropower Project.
Prime Minister Oli will be in Sankhuwasabha all day on Wednesday. According to the secretariat, the programs are scheduled from 8 am to 3:30 pm.
Accompanying the Prime Minister are Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Basant Kumar Nemwang and some lawmakers.
