Urges Dr. K.C to call off the strike: CPN

The meeting of Secretariat of ruling Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) has discussed issues ranging from organizational integration to political appointment.

The meeting held at PM's residence in Baluwatar on Tuesday had a general discussion on organizational integration, constitutional and political appointments.

Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha informed that no decision has been taken even though the agenda of the secretariat has already been discussed.

Shrestha said that no decision has been taken in the meeting despite general discussions on completing the remaining work of organizational integration, constitutional political appointment and issues under various agendas.

Shrestha said that the agenda of the meeting was being discussed and meeting ended on Tuesday with the conclusion that KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda would do more homework and come up with a proposal.

Spokesperson Shrestha said that there was no discussion on cabinet reshuffle in the meeting. Spokesperson Shrestha informed that the meeting urged Dr. Govinda KC to call off the strike.

During the meeting, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli briefed the government on the request to withdraw the strike, said Shrestha.

Spokesperson Shrestha informed that the next meeting of CPN (Maoist) Secretariat will be convened after the homework of the two chairpersons.
