Dr. Govinda KC, who has been on a hunger strike since the last 21 days, has shown deteriorating health. The condition of Dr. KC, who is undergoing treatment at the Tribhuvan Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, is becoming more complicated.
According to the medical bulletin issued by Subash Acharya, the doctor involved in his treatment, the oxygen level was found to be very less in Dr. KC's blood and he was given oxygen. The bulletin also mentions that KC has increased breathing speed, dizziness and extreme fatigue.
Similarly, the amount of WBC in the blood of Dr. KC is very low and the amount of sugar is also said to be low. The hospital has warned that Dr KC's condition is getting worse.
Although the health condition is becoming very critical, Dr. KC has been refusing to seek treatment until his demands are met. Dr. KC, who came to Kathmandu from Jumla a few days ago, was initially taken to the Trauma Center by the police.
After Dr. KC took a stand not to stay in the trauma center, he was rushed to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.
