Residential doctors demonstrate in support of Dr. KC

Doctors across the country have joined the agitation in support of the demand of Dr. Govinda KC, who is on a hunger strike demanding medical education reform.

Doctors of various hospitals in the country have staged a two-hour sit-in at the hospital premises demanding the government to fulfill Dr. KC's demand. Doctors are working to treat emergency and covid patients with black bandages on their hands.

Similarly, demanding the immediate fulfillment of KC's demand, Solidarity for Dr. KC Alliance has staged a demonstration in support of KC in Naxal of Kathmandu on Tuesday. They were carrying placards saying start teaching MBBS at Karnali Science Institute, stop trading in health, fulfill Govinda KC's demand.

Similarly, residential physicians have protested in support of Dr. KC. Doctors have staged a sit-in to put pressure on the government to fulfill KC's demand. Doctors protested with placards with black bandages on their hands. Doctors also demanded immediate fulfillment of Dr. KC's demand.

Meanwhile, Education Secretary Gopinath Mainali has met Dr. Govinda KC demanding six points for medical education sector reform.
