On the occasion, Prime Minister Oli expressed his best wishes for good health, progress and prosperity to all Nepalese at home and abroad and requested them to celebrate Dashain wherever they are.
PM Oli said that it was not appropriate to celebrate the festival without paying any attention to it or to indulge in extravagant activities. Prime Minister Oli said that all should be vigilant to make festival economical and proper by correcting such practices.
Stating that Dashain has to be celebrated in a different way than in the past in the current situation of Corona epidemic, Prime Minister urged his people to take care of the danger of possible infection if they come close unnecessarily while receiving tika.
Due to the risk of coronavirus infection, Prime Minister's program to put tika to the public this year has already been canceled
