Former Minister Mohan Bahadur Basnet has taken charge of the higher education studies of flood and landslide victims Chhiring Gole and Rojina Basnet of Sindhupalchowk.

Chhiring and Rojina, who passed SEE in the same year, were admitted to Capital College and Research Center in Kathmandu by former minister Basnet as they were deprived of higher education due to floods and landslides.

Chhiring So is enrolled in the Faculty of Science and Rojina is enrolled in the Faculty of Management.

Former Minister Basnet said that college has also given 60 percent discount in their first year admission fee. Former Minister Basnet said that he has taken charge of education up to bachelor level in the subject they wants to study.

Lilaghar Bhandari has also arranged free hostel for both of them to stay in Kathmandu. Rozina, who has not been able to study at home due to her poor financial condition, is happy that she has been able to study for free with the help of former minister Basnet.

Rozina said that she would fulfill his dream by reading well. Pari Chhiring had lost her entire family in a landslide in Sindhupalchowk on July 10. Similarly, Rozina's father is a person with a disability.
