Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukunda Narbhane prepares to visit Nepal

Preparations are underway for the visit of Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukunda Narbhane, who was stopped due to corona virus.

There is a practice between Nepal and India to honor Chief of Army Staff as an honorary commander in each other's country. A formal invitation has been extended to Narbhane to visit Nepal within the month of November.

Border dispute between the two countries came to the surface after India built roads in areas including Kalapani, Lipulek and Limpiyadhura.

After his return to Nepal, cabinet meeting on 20 January 2076 approved the visit of Indian Army Chief Narbhane and Israeli Army Chief Abhi Djokovic to Nepal.
