Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has met Muskan Khatun, a resident of Birgunj who was attacked with acid by two local youths. On Tuesday evening, Prime Minister Oli called her at his official residence in Baluwatar and had a dialogue with the acid-stricken Muskan.
Just a few days ago, during a television conversation, Muskan had complained that the two young men who had thrown acid on her had been released from prison under the pretext of Covid.
When asked what happened after meeting the Prime Minister in Baluwatar, Muskan complained that those who attacked her with acid were not punished.
"I have said that the law should be tightened," said Muskan. In response, Prime Minister Oli assured that the government would take full responsibility for the treatment of the acid victims.
"I have also asked the prime minister to take responsibility for guaranteeing employment and education," Khatun said. "The prime minister has said that we will bring strict laws and take charge of education."
During the conversation, the Prime Minister promised to provide free treatment to the acid victim at the government hospital, Muskan said. The Prime Minister also informed her that she would be called again on Bhadra 25.
"Don't worry, the government will cover all the expenses for you," Muskan said of the assurance given by the prime minister. He has said that the government will do everything for me.
'She also said that the Prime Minister had assured that immediate action would be taken against those involved in the acid attack. "I have said that it is necessary to make a strict law with the provision of life imprisonment for the perpetrators," she said in a dialogue with the Prime Minister.

According to the medical report provided by Narayani Hospital to the police as evidence, Shamshad Alam was 16 to 18 years old and Majid was 18 to 20 years old.
