Kathmandu District Corona Crisis Management Committee has decided to expedite the construction of quarantine sites and isolation in the Kathmandu Valley.
A committee meeting held in Kathmandu on Tuesday decided to make various schools quarantine sites and Pashupati Dharamsala to be converted into quarantine sites and isolation and search for other places.
The meeting has stressed on the need to tighten the entry to the valley.
As all the people coming to Nepal from abroad cannot stay in the hotel quarantine by paying money, the committee emphasizes on making arrangements to send the Nepalese who have come to Nepal after undergoing PCR test at home.
Similarly, the meeting stressed on the need to extend the current ban in the Kathmandu Valley for a few days and strictly abide by it, said Kathmandu CDO Janak Raj Dahal.
Similarly, Bidya Sundar Shakya, chief of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, said that the work would be expedited through the District Corona Crisis Management Committee for the construction of quarantine sites and isolation in the Kathmandu Valley.
The committee has decided to expedite the PCR investigation in the Valley.
