A restraining order has been issued in Mahottari till September 26 as the risk of coronavirus is increasing.
The District Administration Office has issued a restraining order in Mahottari district for the prevention and reduction of corona infection.
Chief District Officer Krishna Bahadur Katuwal informed that a restraining order has been issued from 12 last night till Bhadra 10. Earlier, the district administration had enforced restrictions only wards 3 and 5 of Jaleshwor municipality and Mahottari municipality.
Chief District Officer Katuwal said that it has been decided to impose a curfew in the district till Bhadra 10 as the infection has been seen in the entire district.
Essential shop business will be allowed to operate from 6 am to 9 am during the injunction period.It has been said that masks, globes and sanitizers must be used while running a business and to maintain social distance.
Chief District Officer Katuwal also informed that those violating the injunction will be punished according to the law. So far, two people have died of corona infection in Mahottari and the number of infected people has reached 1,088.
Gorendra Jha, focal person of the District Health Office, Mahottari, informed that corona infection has been confirmed in 12 people of the district yesterday.
