Officials including the Deputy Prime Minister, Home Minister, Minister for Health and Population and the Chief of Army Staff have tested negative for the latest PCR test of Covid-19.
At a meeting of the Covid-19 Crisis Management Operations Center (CCMC) last Sunday, officials who provided tea and water to the participants were tested positive for corona infection after their PCR was tested.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel, Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa, Health Minister Bhanubhakta Dhakal, Chief of Army Staff Purnachandra Thapa and other dignitaries were present at the meeting.
Their swabs were collected in the morning and the test result was negative on Saturday evening. Most of the participants in the meeting were in isolation on Friday after it was confirmed last Thursday that the person providing the tea and water was corona positive.
