The parliamentary hearing committee has called for complaints against the three persons recommended as ambassadors to different countries.
The committee meeting held at Singha Durbar on Friday called for complaints against Gehendra Rajbhandari, who has been recommended as ambassador to Belgium and the European Union, Tapas Adhikari, who has been recommended for Pakistan, and Ram Kaji Khadka, who has been recommended for Germany.
A time limit of 10 days has been fixed for the complaint. Chairman of the committee Laxman Lal Karna informed that a complaint has been called against the three persons who have been recommended as ambassadors before the hearing committee within the next 10 days.
The cabinet meeting held on Bhadra 1 had decided to recommend all the three as ambassadors. There is a constitutional provision that the names of those recommended will be appointed by the President after the approval of the Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee.
