Four people have gone missing in floods and landslides in the far west. Three people have gone missing in Kailali due to floods and one in Bajura. Three people have been rescued from the flood-hit Kailali district.

Ishwar Shah, 40, of Bhaur Municipality-8, Khaurpur, Chakra BK, 33, and Scale Chaudhary, 11, of Janakpur have gone missing, said DSP Prateek Bista of the District Police Office. He said that they were swept away by the floods of Patharaiya and Kandra rivers.

Balaram Chaudhary, 40, of Bhajani-8, who went missing in the river on Wednesday afternoon, has been rescued. DSP Bista said that the injured were rescued about 500 meters below the spot.

Similarly, Bikki Shahi and Hemant Shahi of the same ward have also been rescued by the police team.

Similarly, 21-year-old Dharmaraj Padhyay has gone missing after being buried in a landslide in Amkot of Budhiganga Municipality-1 of Bajura.

Inspector Dan Bahadur Rokaya of the District Police Office Bajura said that he went missing after being buried in a landslide while he was grazing goats.

Gyan Raj Padhyay, 17, and Harendra Padhyay, 15, were injured in the landslide. Inspector Rokaya said that Gyan Raj's condition was serious.
