Bundesliga is not the same anymore as the game restarted on Saturday with no audience, no children to go along with players to the field, but has definitely become Europe's first major league to restart after two-months of lockdown due to corona virus pandemic.
The league's first game was played in an empty stadium with only about 300 essential staff and officials on May 16.In the match between Dortmund and Schalke, Dortmund scored 4 goals against Schalke. No players shook hands with the referee or match officials.
Players did not celebrate in groups nor did they touch hands with teammates. No photos were taken before the kick-off following rules for social distancing.
Few clubs have planned to play music and use real life sized cardboard cutouts of fans to encourage players and lift the atmosphere during the match.
The world has shown new ways of adaptation in the sports sector despite of the world facing hardships during this pandemic fans around the globe stuck at home may enjoy the league at home in sofa.
Bundesliga is facing opposition and criticism from people claiming that putting the lives of players, the lives of their families, and society as a dumb decision and risk for all people.
