Transfer of assistance
Pratima Neema Memorial Foundation Bhairahawa has provided 5-5 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to Lumbini Provincial Hospital Butwal and Bhim Hospital Bhairahawa.
Swati Thapa, executive director of the foundation, said that the foundation has provided 5 units of PPE, 5 sets of face shields (helmets), 5 pairs of gloves, 20 pairs of sanitizers and 5 pairs of boots to both the hospitals.
Executive Director of the Foundation Swati Thapa and Director Dharma Bahadur KC on Sunday called on the Chief Medical Superintendent of Lumbini Regional Hospital, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Khanal and Medical Superintendent of Hospital Dr. Bhim. He handed over the medical supplies to Napin Darnal.
Dr. Khanal receiving health supplies thanked the Pratiman-Neema Memorial Foundation for providing PPE and other health items to the hospital while it was operating due to lack of security cover.
Minister for Social Development of the five states, Surdashan Baral, thanked the Pratima-Neema Memorial Foundation for providing his building as a quarantine while managing various quarantines in the five states.
He also informed that necessary preparations have been made to prevent the spread of the disease in five states.
He lauded the provision of PPE and other health items to Lumbini Provincial Hospital and Bhim Hospital against COVID-19 from his own resources.
Dharma Bahadur KC, director of the foundation, informed that 4/4 units of PPE will be provided to Rohini, Omasatiya and Siyari villages in a few days.
