The government has approved a new map of Nepal covering land encroached by India.

A cabinet meeting held at the PM's residence in Baluwatar on Monday approved a new map of Lipulek, Kalapani and Limpiyadhura of Nepal encroached by India, said government spokesperson Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada.

Land Management Minister Padma Aryal presented the map at the meeting. Earlier, in the policy and program submitted by the government on May 15, the government had committed to issue a new map including the lands encroached by India including Lipulek, Limpiyadhura and Kalapani.
