Government of India against the new map of Nepal
India has opposed the issuance of a new map covering Limpiyadhura, Kalapani and Lipulek areas and said it is not acceptable by India.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs alleged that its territory was included in the map issued by Nepal. It is against the understanding to work out in this border dispute through bilateral diplomatic dialogue.
This one-sided action is not based on historical facts and evidence. It is against the mutal understanding to resolve border issues through diplomatic talks. '
India has termed the circulation of maps including Lipulek, Kalapani and Limpiyadhura as artificial expansion. And, he has made it clear that he will not accept it. India has expressed confidence that the Nepali leadership will create an environment for resolving border disputes through diplomatic dialogue.
