Interview of Nepali Congress leader Dr. Minendra Rijal's to an Indian media about the Nepal-India border dispute has gone viral on social media.

Many Nepalese have shared Dr. Rijal's answer on the border dispute between Nepal and India on social media. Opposition parties have stated they will not run in the by-elections, but Rijal said in response to the Indian speaker's statement that "the government has thousands of issues but we are with the border."

He also countered the allegation of the Indian side that Nepal had issued a new map at the urging of China and clarified that Nepal should not be instigated by anyone on its own issue.

Dr. Rijal suggested asking many questions without playing a role, after Arnab Goswami, a celebrity journalist from India's Replica TV, explained that China was alone in the world and that Nepal was run under his direction.

The presenter objected to the question explaining that Limpiyadhura, Lipulek and Kalapani belong to India, after his suggestion. Dr. Rijal also objected to the questioner's accusation that Nepal was like a government under China.

He said that it was not right for the media to raise the issue while the officials of both the countries were saying that they would hold discussions. Stating that Nepal has a lot of evidence that the land encroached by India belongs to Nepal, he said that Nepal is ready to hold talks on that basis.

He stressed that no one should spoil the relations between the two countries at the grassroots level and the countries should resolve their problems and disputes through dialogue.

While talking about the border, when the questioner tried to add a different context, Dr. Rijal countered by saying, "Listen to my answer, how can a person who does not respect the individual improve the relations of the country."

He strongly denied the allegation that all Nepalese were in one place about the border. Whereas Indian presenter interpreted by the as a biased statement of Prime Minister Oli towards India, “the virus from India has become stronger".

Dr. Rijal also objected to the Prime Minister's attempt to change the subject by saying that the Chinese corona virus is right and the Indian corona virus is wrong.

He said he was only willing to give an interview about the border and did not have time to talk about Corona. During the interview, Dr. Rijal suggested that the presenter was repeatedly misinterpreted and biased.
